Wash are with hot water and car wash soap. Immediately apply heat from the blow dryer for a minute straight, then start peeling with a credit card or your finger nail. Ive done it plenty of times.

Today I took a 21 yr old 2.5 xri decal off of my Merc, couldnt even get a corner to peel up until I heated it up with a heat gun at 700 degree setting peeled right off like said above dont hold it in one spot to long

Robin, I wouldnt use a razor blade on anything you really want to keep the finish intact. Glass windshields, sure. Paint is a no-no. You wont have to if you heat it up properly. Usually you can work a corner up with a fingernail and the sticker will peel right off as you heat it. If you have to scrape it, dont use a razor blade. Go with the credit card or something soft like a Popsicle stick or plastic scraper. Acetone will take the glue off too. I used it on my Merc with no ill effects.

Clean the area completely with Denatured Alcohol. It is a better choice than rubbing alcohol.Dan

How do you like my new decals.

I never use the primer glue. the decals have very good adhesion qualities if the area is cleaned properly. as in most things in life, proper prep is the foundation of any finished quality product.

Not that Im aware of. Just look at some pictures of others.
