I got vandalized a few weeks back and I’m wondering if the boat will need to be returned to BCB for repair. It’s about 14” long, 1/4” wide and about 3/16” deep.I will try and post a picture for observation. Well I couldn’t figure it out. So no pictures
If you have a good and reputable glass shop locally, then you can get the gel and flake material from BCB, and let your repair shop do it. That way you will have a perfect match.
If you are in/near Louisiana, Doug McGee does excellent work on BassCats. He recently fixed a gouge in a friends Ranger and it is perfect. Let me know if you need his number.Gerard
Well that’s good news. I didn’t know that I could get the gel and flake from BCB. I live in Eastern Kentucky and I’ll have to research a good glass man. I have been sick since it happened. I have only had it for about 2 months. She’s a 2018 Caracal, and my retirement boat. Is it worth getting my insurance company involved?. I wouldn’t think it would cost as much the deductible .
Since its accessible, the cost factor should not be too much, though to get it done right wont be cheap either. I doubt it will be more than a $500 deductible. Your dealer should know a good fiberglass shop.
