I have a hummingbird 87c mounted in the bow. Had the boat about 2 months now at up until last week worked great. Now when i turn it on it shows the 87c logo then turns off saying input voltage low. I got it home and it worked but now comes on and turns right off. This is my first boat and pretty clueless to depth finders so any help is appreciated. thnx

It is: 1. A connection 2. A low battery 3. Battery terminal connections 4. Terminal block feeds loose on the transom. Or you have other issues. The connections could be failing at any Y or joint in the harness. BCB Admin.

Ok i talked to humminbird and they advised to put a meter on the front finder at it read 12.4 volts should be enough? I was out last night fising and wasnt running the front one just the in dash and after about an hour of fishing and listening to the radio i looked at the in dash an it read “input voltage low” the battery is brand new. Fired up the motor and idled to a new spot reading went away. So i tried using the front one it stayed on for about 3 minutes turned off again. When i got home i turned both units on and after ten minutes or so both stayed on. I am one confused individual right now.

If delta rat means Cali delta I would just take the t.hing to sonny and get it right. Sonny did some work on mine and it is magnificent. If you dont know Sonny Ill get you a numberC.O.D. Jr. III
