anyone experience this? zerks are greased, fluid is full, and all nuts and bolts are tight.thought i saw k-pink chime in on this issue about the cylinder shafts getting varnished.any ideas? thanks.
If the plate is not fully secure then there can be some rub at the pin that comes out of the trim motor-have seen that so check all the nuts on the plate that secure it to the boat and all of its parts to itself- Had a plate get put back on my boat once in a “not so fully secure position” once and it did this some at first and then developed a bad ground(and would dim all lights when I moved the plate) and then it decided to ground to the motor and then caught the motors ground wire on fire while I was trying to move the plate down and then nearly stranded me on the Ar River at night.C.O.D.
