Detwiller Jack plate sluggish

I have a 2010 Detwiller Jack plate on my Puma ftd and it has worked flawlessly until now.It is really slow moving up or down. Takes about 30 seconds to move it an inch. Can anyone point me in the right direction to start troubleshooting or have any suggestions?Thanks

Grease the support bars. Check/add fluid. Or pump problem. Thats about all it can be.

Check to see if this is a four stem bolt unit, or the Mercury 125 trim pump model. IF it is the stem bolt model we strongly suggest you continually tighten those stem bolts as they stretch. If it is a trim pump model then parts are readily available if you have any issues. Newer SeaStar Detwiler plates are using the SeaStar (Teleflex) pump assembly. BCB
