Looking at possibly getting an Eyra. Nada shows quite a difference in retail between the two. Im looking at a used 2014. Not sure how to tell the difference.

I only know parts of the answer to your question. The Eyra Sp are Promotional boats. Normally they came with a 225 no hot foot, smaller fuel capacity and a few less bells and whistles.

There is about a 4k difference between the 225 and the 250 on NADA.Your Signature …

SP also = single axle trailer

While single axle was standard on Eyra and smaller, most SP models moved to tandem trailers

The 225 is also plenty of ponies if that is the engine.

I recently bought an Eyra SP but everything that could be upgraded was upgraded to where there isnt much difference between my boat and the regular Eyra. Only differences are the one I bought has one bilge pump, no lighted compartments, and 36 gals vs 52 gals of gas. And it looks like I can add more fuel storage but honestly dont need it.With the 225hp I can get up 74mph loaded down before I get scared and back off to a comfortable 70mph cruising speed

I keep seeing reference to that but it is confusing.Everyone should believe in something. I believe Ill just go fishing!
