Discolored gelcoat or flake

I just picked up this boat from the original buyer. It is a 2017 Sabre FTD bought from Fredericks Outdoors in October of 2018. The owner let me know about it and said it needs attention eventually. I guess my first question is… what causes this? It stands out on cloudy days and barely seen in bright light. It is just strange. What would it take to fix it?

Please contact the closest dealership and have them contact our Service Department. Also the question is whether or not you have transferred the warranty and the original sale date on the registration will be referenced. That is very uncommon and we will let service know about the issue. The manner they handle it will depend on a variety of triggers. The original owner should have followed this process.

I filled out all the Quest/warranty transfer info over the weekend and got a notification just this morning that my credit was charged for it. The original owner stated he contacted Basscat about the issue. I will get with Brown’s Outboard as they are about an hour from me.

The original purchase date was 10/18/2018 and I bought it 10/29/2019.
