I think you use those plastic slats in place of storage boxes like plano except you dont get a lid. Dang doctor dont know squat.

Yeah i guess I could just forgo the Plano 3700s and just pile crap up everywhere on top of itself. I guess fishing in other peoples boats is overrated…..just get Ol mike to Drag me around?C.O.D. Jr. III

I seldom ever fish in anyone elses boat so I suppose I could use those. But they sure seem pretty proud of them. Might make it harder to clean out your boat.

I looked at those at the FWC back in August. I do like the idea of the ones for the rod boxes for sure.

I dont really get this either. Im always looking for a better way to store baits but this one just seems to take up more space than needed. One of their pics shows an entire storage compartment full of loose plastics bags. Does anybody do this? My OCD wont let me have 3 loose packages in the boat much less 53.2017 Eyra / 250 Merc Pro XS

I use 7 of the 3700 series boxes in an organizer (built in to my Classic). I have not found a circumstance where I cant carry enough tackle in that for a weekend trip. Of course, pros have a garage full of stuff, but I try to be more selective. If I went too far, my wife would probably put ME in a Plano 3700 size box. I have a big Shimano satchel for soft plastics with about 30 heavy duty zip locks inside. I upgraded the snap rings to 3″ units to hold it together. If the satchel wont hold it – I dont need it. Need a bag of whatever – its easy to find. I store it in a back compartment. Theres also a “bait bar” for soft plastics I made myself for less than $5 thats fastened under a front lid and holds the 20 bags Im likely to need that day. Most of these “systems” are gimmicks to carry way too much “stuff” that does nothing but kill bow lift and boat performance. By limiting tackle in the boat, I leave what I wont use that season at the house. If Im not throwing 10″ worms in Dec – May, why have them in the boat?
