I don understand QUEST that well. Im going to be fishing in a federation club next year and maybe a few bfl events. I was just wondering if they qualify in the program. And do I have to register. I have an 01 sabre that I bought brand new. Does that mean Im already registered or do I have to fill out a form. I just want everything lined out that way if I was in the position to use it I can with no trouble.
There is a LifeTime Warranty on your Sabre basscat22. If you transferred that warranty, or you are the original owner, then you are set. If not, then you will have to do that. Rule R. Registration: There is no cost to owners of all 2000 model year product and later, which has a the Lifetime Warranty status and/or is transferred as of November 1, 2004 The fee to transfer Lifetime Warranty is $100.00, plus any dealership fees that may apply for 2000 and later models, and includes membership in Quest. There is a $100 Quest Membership Fee on all used boats, 1999 or older. This is specifically attached to the owner and that particular Bass Cat boat serial number. Membership in Quest and or transfer of Lifetime Warranty is open to all Bass Cat Owners, no matter age of product. Transfer of Lifetime Warranty automatically qualifies the owner for Quest Membership. Units purchased used from inventorying, good standing Bass Cat dealerships, will be registered by dealership and Bass Cat, at no charge. * You have the opportunity to sanction your own event (s) and all events sanctioned by yourself are eligible for all Quest members, as their sanctions are for yourself. BFL Events are sanctioned automatically, and Federation State Championships are as well. Individual events outside of those listed in the rules must be sanctioned by yourself, or another BCB owner. That form is found in the Quest site on the Owners Board. T. Tournaments under automatic sanction as of this printing in 2006 are: Anglers Choice Teams and Couples, American Bassfishing Club (ABC), BASS Outdoors Series, Media Bass, 100% BASS, BassMaxx, Team Trails of Mississippi, BFL events, Internet (IBBT, BFHP & BBC) Rallys designated on website, and B.A.S.S. State Federation Championships, ALL other Tournaments must be sanctioned and events are subject to change. Complete listings will be updated on the Bass Cat Quest board. We hope this helps you out, though the rules are all there. If you have more questions dont hesitate to ask. BCB
Let just say I get first in a bfl event. What do I do. Do I tell them Im in the quest program. Do I get the money from them or do it get it from you. And is there a list that has all of the sanction events on it.
Basscat22,If you win a sanctioned tournament you must provide a photo at the weigh in, then fill out the quest form and submit it to Bass Cat for payment. This is the way I understand it. You can get all the forms here on the Quest board. Good luck and I hope you collect alot of Quest money.Tim Hendricks
To get Quest payout you have to win the tournament. Then its everything that Tim has said above. You need to have a picture showing you were wearing the BCB apparel. You then fill out the Quest Form as said above and send it to Bass Cat along with the photo. Bass Cat pays out the Quest. Not the event. The event probably doesnt even know that the event has been sanctioned.
