I was at my local China-mart and could not locate the Dow version of Scrubbing Bubbles. They had the Johnson and Johnson manufactured Scrubbing Bubbles, will that work without adverse side effects?

We dont know what is in the Johnsons Wax product. Usually a good company though we will not say go ahead.

I was at Home Depot last week, they had 3 can packs of Scrubbing Bubbles for $6.00. I got enough to last me a few years now. Though the wife mentioned I could also try it in the bathroom now that Im home and retired…… I also found Lava soap bars for your bilge in Walmart in the auto care section for 99 cents. I paid $2.50 a bar in a grocery store last year when I couldnt find it a Walmart or anywhere else around here last year. But I had looked for it with the rest of the bath bar soap. Never thought to look where they sold car cleaning products!

Thanks all. I was at the grocery store today and could not find the DOW manufactured Scrubbing Bubbles, only the Johnson and Johnsons. Wonder if that product was bought by J&J………Will look at Home Depot for the DOW made.

When I called the other day and asked about cleaning the seats, I was told scrubbing bubbles, but not a brand. I got the Johnsons brand as I was only looking for the scrubbing bubbles and it cleaned up my seats very nicely. But do I have anything to worry about as I have heard of other seat cleaners destroying the threads holding the seats together. Thanks,JR

Dow sold scrubbing bubbles to Johnson & Johnson some time ago. I have a friend who worked for Dow and he thought it was a dumb move.

ok,, so whats the deal with the lava soap and bilge? any other secretes out there? Magic eraser is awesome to shine up the Cat…
