Drain Plug Upgrade Question

I’ve noticed on some of the new model Cats that BCB uses what appears to be a self-retaining drain plug. Doesn’t look like a standard drain plug. Does BCB sell a self-retaining, or threaded plug assembly that could be retrofitted to an 07 Sabre FTD with the standard 1” plug set up? And can (or should) the SS (or aluminum?) sleeve in the hole be removed?

The aluminum drain tube can be removed easily with a screw driver and tap hammer. We suggest you totally seal the exterior wall outside the tube as they will not be sealed with removal. The stainless steel drain tube has an O-Ring that BCB places on the inside portion to retain or hold the plug, there will now be 2. This prevents it from vibrating out. If you go to the stainless steel tube then you can just fasten it to the outside. BCB
