Drotto latch

Does anyone use a Drotto latching system on their Basscat. I have a 2015 Puma and fish by myself often. This system looks like it would make trailering easier?

I remember this being discussed a long time ago, might have even been on the old webpage. Try a search using Bass Cat/Drotto latch it might bring up the thread where ever it might be. I seem to remember there was some issues but I really can’t remember what they were. Discussion was years ago.

My best fishing partner has one on a mid 2000 Puma FTD, and loves his. I am in no way recommending it, but his boat is used a lot, several days a month, and it has worked exactly as described. I’ve fished with him several times, and have seen no issues from it. Again, I have never owned one, and am sharing personal experience only.

ghinshaw: I am curious if you decided to add the Drotto latch to your trailer? If you did, how does it fit your trailer and how do you like it?
