I ordered my 2013 Pantera IV Advantage Elite with dual consols thinking the passenger side was removeable. I have removed all 6 bolts—-it isnt budging. Do I need to get a little rough with it or will I ruin/crack the gelcoat or glass by proceeding.Im preparing for a Musky trip in Canada (LOW) and want all the room I can get for netting/fighting a Musky.

There is also an epoxy holding the console. It can be removed but gently. Well I did a search. Then tore into it. My passenger console is removed, and I have cleaned up the epoxy mess. Not to bad of a finished surface, will buff it out with rubbing compound. Gonna have tons of room now to fight-land some Muskys.I am also gonna try and line the console with some sort of rubber so I can take it off and on when need be. Any suggestions on a good product to use.

I tried yesterday to take mine off, got the three off under the console but couldnt get the two on the side. Did you go thru the round black access on the side?I will attempt again when I get some help. Hard to do by yourself.

You do go through the round access plate, and small wooden wedges slowly slipped between the console and side panel in baby steps works well.

IBNRUT—- BCBS description is exactly what I did. I have a P-4 and there were 3 bolts in the front and 3 bolts on the side. I also used wooden wedges on the front and on the side. Go slowly, It will come off.BCB—to make clean up of the adheasive a little easier, what kind of solvent will help remove it. I tried Acetone and Denatured Alcohol, didnt touch it.
