Im curious if anyone who has a cougar has installed the dual power poles on their rig. I mainly want to know where you are putting your pumps? If any one has any tips I would appreciate it and pictures are more than welcome. Thank you.

Pumps are each bolted to the angled outside of the rear deck storage compartments. Kind of in the corner nearest the livewell walls. Through-bolted. One on each side.

Do you mean they are installed in the rear storage bins or in front of the fuel tanks on that wall seperating the storage bin inside the battery compartment?

Yes thats the best mounting location it is a little tricky getting it done though.. Getting the 2 holes drilled to thru bolt the pump in. I made a drill template. A little tight working area too.. Good Luck..

Guys that baby my boat made me a sheet metal bracket like a backwards s at right angles that is secured on lip compartment with 2 bolts and nylon nuts. Other end has platform that hold both pumps above batteries in bilge. Also has an piece if wood that comes back against seat pedestal post so there is no play front to back or side to side. Makes pumps a cinch to get to and I can undo two screws and get all the pumps out of the way for batteries. Have had it 2 years and LOVE IT.C.O.D. Jr. III
