electrical grease

What grease do you use on trailer plugs and other connections? Is vaseline ok?

I use vaseline on most of the electrical connections on my boat, never had any corrosion.

Petroleum Jelly as suggested.

Dielectric grease is good too, though prolly a wee more expensive.

Battery posts, light plugs, trolling motor plug, etc,,,all get the same stuff, Vaseline. Even the trailer ball gets a good dose !

I like to use SuperLube. Started using it for the fishing reels and then noticed on the back that it can be used as dielectric grease too. I love it it stays on for a long time to. I use it on spark plug boots too.
