Electrical nightmares!!!!!

My 1994 Pantera II is in desperate need of a rewire! The digital dash wont stay on longer than 5 min. The aerator quit working in a BFL tournament last season. The lights only work periodically. Only one of the bilge pumps work and it keeps burning up. The cranking battery wont stay charged, the kill switch works sometimes……etc, etc! I love my boat! It rides like a Cadillac! However, if I dont get this thing fixed before spring, Im not going to be able to fish next year. Is it possible for me to take this thing to BCB and have it refurbished, so to speak? There are a couple other little things that need fixed. Im sure I could have it done at a marina, but I want it done right and I know there is only one place Im sure to get that. I dont even know if I could afford something like that,all I know is I love fishing and I love my Basscat (this is my 3rd one)! What do I do?

If your cranking battery is bad, thats obviously the place to start. From there I would check all your connections. Is your bilge pump constantly running? What are you doing that is causing it to burn out? The kill switch is out of my league.

Location is jackson, tn. Thomas, it def isnt the cranking battery, all of my batteries are new.

TNbass, Take it back to them. You will not get it done any cheaper or BETTER for the money. I will be taking my 99 Classic back in January for new seats and carpet(hopefully a flippin deck console to replace my flippin deck if I can swing the funds). I have already taken one back several years ago and Richard did a stellar job in refurbishing my first 92 P2. Great bunch to deal with and plus youll get to check out the factory. FYI, to keep the wife happy I make it a weekend trip and after dropping the boat off we go to Branson and let her spend some money to keep the heat off me. Whatever works I guess… PS I live in memphis and the drive is not bad at all.

Thanks Basscat76. I wasnt sure if they did stuff like that. I thought it might be like trying to take your pickup back to the factory to get fixed! I guess that has something to do with why Basscat is #1 in customer service! So do I just call them and set up a time to drop it off? How far was it from memphis? How much did it cost to have your 92 P2 redone? How long did it take?

Seems like it took me 4 hours give or take. As far as price I really dont remember but I think it was somewhere in the $2500 range. I had all new seats, carpet, new trolling motor, electrical problems fixed , and the top cap buffed out. I was amazed when I picked it up. As far as how to set up an appointment, I called the factory and set up a drop off time and date. Cant wait to get mine back there for a makeover.
