Well the cat is getting Merc serviced and I didnt get a good measurement were the current Humminbird 997 is flush mounted in the dash. My question is will a Helix 9 mega go in the dash in place of the 997? There is a difference in size, the 997 is 10.75w x 6h x 2.5D. The Helix is 13.44w x 7.12 H x 3.99. Im just not sure if opening up the existing hole that there will be enough room. The 997s screen is beginning to dalamminate.Butch P
