End of year maintenance – horn and bilger

Just wanted to say thanks to BCB and all the family. Went out for last time to get some greenies while they feed up for the winter. While going through checks of every bell, whistle and accessory on my 2005 Puma I found that my horn and bilge would buzz and beep on my A10 dash. Pulled boat in garage and checked BCB FAQ and found this postviewtopic.php?f=67&t=25476&p=179847&hilit=Bilge#p179847Checked the 2 red power wires at terminal strip at back of boat and found the jumper had some corrosion. Cleaned up strip with pad, some coca cola, replaced terminations, grease and dielectric sealant. Good as new in 20 minutes.Enjoy the holidays everyone…

Wow, looks like BCB had great foresight when this Forum was created. Here is a 4 year old post that I made back in 2013 and it is still being helpful to someone in the Family. MDBASSNPRO, thanks for posting this because now you are keeping the helpful tradition going for new members that might not be aware of this. You enjoy the Holidays too. Sorry to hear you use the term “last time” to chase the greenies. Thats foreign to us down here in Louisiana as our Basscats never hibernate.
