Enhancing Electronics at the bow for SI/DI fishing

I wonder if there is a way to put electronics on a seat post to raise and lower at the bow. 2D has enough contrast to view at a distant but DI and SI detail IMO requires a bit more close up viewing to fully appreciate what it has to offer. Just a thought.

Flyswatter, try this http://www.allisonboats.com/content/bass-boats/e-ped/. I am trying to find one to look at to see if it will work on a basscat. Looks like it would without the recess that it sits in. Not many allisons that Ive seen here in Indy, maybe someone can chime in that has seen one up close. Thanks for all you contribute on here. I seen it about a month ago but have had no luck finding one to look at. Keep me posted if you can find anything out and I will likewise. Maybe someone will chime in.

Bamacat, The beauty of this device is its adjustable so it wont get in your way working your bait over the bow. My style to retrieve is typically left of center from the bow most times so IMO not an issue for me. At worst its an option for someone like me with fatiguing eyes to consider if there is a way to mount something like this on a BassCat.Last edited by Flyswatter on November 15th, 2013, 5:06 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I like the whole idea. Thats a fine set up! If your not wanting it up, or its in your way…PUT it DOWN. But when just trolling over lay downs or rocks..it would be great. Close and personal. Throw out a buoy and put it back down. I want one!
