What is the price range on the Erya? I am planning to purchase a new boat and can not decide between the Erya vs the Puma FTD. The storage is okay for my purpose on both models. I am concerned about the stability of the fishing platform and the ride mostly.

There are few who can honestly comment on the differences between the rigs. Kevin Short is one of few, and Another gentleman in Little Rock area who has had a couple of the Puma FTD models in 2009 and 2010. EK has spent some time in both the past year, and maybe Allan Glasgow also, though not many can honestly give you a head to head on these. In a few months there will be others able to offer more info. as they have time in their rigs. Everyone is impressed with the ride and performance as they are the fishing from what we hear.

Pretty sure the price is comparable to the Puma FTD, which all depends on the ponies you bolt to the back and the electronics you upgrade. Nice thing about the Eyra is you can utilize a 200HP if youre not looking for speed and save some $$s. Cant do that on the Puma. Well, I guess you could, but it wouldnt be a very good match.As far as the stability, I cant tell much, if any, difference between it and the FTD boats. Rides as well, if not better, than the FTDs.Been in it since October and the engine has 75+ hours on it.

I had mine on toledo this past weekend in 20+ mph wind and it did great! I was very pleased with the ride. Very solid and very dry as well as smooth. We fished on the flats all day in the wind and had no problems with stability or anything else for that matter. The Eyra is an awesome boat! I have owned both and I would choose the Eyra over either of the FTD models.

I had a 2009 Puma FTD and now run a 2011 Eyra with a 250 XS on it. You want a real break down feel free to email me or call me. I love the Eyra so far it fishes just as well as my Puma did. As for the storage issue I personally havent had any. Only bit of advice is, if you go with a Eyra with a 250 on it put a hydralic jack plate. Hope this helps

I LOVE the leg room in my cougar FTD. I think the Eyra is a little tighter if that matters to you.
