My number 6 injector is bad this time – 1 1/2 months past the 5 yr warranty. BRP stepped up and will be replacing the 5 injectors that were not replaced last November at no cost to me. Way to Step up! I will be following BCBs advise and will drain the remaining fuel and start with new gas. I consistently use Stabil when I add gas. Anything better out there?I have a 2008 ETEC 150HO. Last October I had an injector replaced under warranty. Because I did not get it back until mid/late November I could not run it because the water up here was hard. I took it out this past Saturday and again the same thing happened. Loss of power, no hole shot, felt like I was dragging an anchor behind, and finally was able to get the boat to plane after a long run up and feathering the trim – BTW I did this with a 1/2 oz rattletrap buried in my elbow thanks to my son, but thats another story. I could not get the rpms above 4100. Could this be another bad injector? Shouldnt the dealer have caught this last year? Could it be a fuel line issue? I would like to get this resolved and returned to the dealer that had it last year hoping to get it in and out quickly. I am wondering if someone knows the best ETEC wrench in SE WI in case I cannot get any satisfaction. Anyone know who the BRP rep in the Midwest is? The plant is just down the road and maybe they have seen this before and can provide some guidance. I would like to get this taken care of.
