Do any of you guys have any experience as to what it would consist of to drop the lower unit on a 225 evinrude 2003 model. Its for a friend just wants to replace water pump. Thanks

Im in NO WAY a technician……However Ive seen our techs do it and its pretty simple….I would suggest having a True Pro show you how, im sure their are Videos on Youtube.com or forums like this….However whats $100 in labor among friends??????? Brannon

Every time I try to do something myself it ends up costing me more money. So I just let the pros do it.

I did my own, but it was on a 1993 Mariner 200hp. pretty easy. this was years ago when I had no money. But if you can find someone to do it for $100.00 let them do it.
