Eyra 200Hp

I really like the Eyra layout but the Eyra with a 250hp is out of my price range. Ive seen on other forums where the Eyra was made as more of a bridge boat between the sabre/pantera2 and the larger 250hp boats. Maybe this isnt true but I had a couple quesitons about the eyra with a 200hp1) What kind of price would I be looking at for an eyra with 200hp? I know it depends a lot on upgrades but just the basics plus 7 inch graphs. 2) Is 200hp enough power to run the eyra? Im really looking forward to the classic release. By the sounds of it the classic should fit my needs perfect but also doing as much research as I can just in case its not what Im looking for.

It is a great package with a 200 engine. Just visit with your closest dealer and have them price what you want.

Im not sure on the performance of the 200 on the Eyra. My guess would be upper 60s loaded. The boat itself in my opinion is the best on the market. But keep in mind the resale may be tough with a 200 on it. If your keeping it long term it wont be a big deal.

Tom Moore had one of the first Eyras, maybe THE first one, he had a 200 on it. He was very pleased with the performance, I think he topped 70 with it, but he also spent a lot of time, along with Brechs Marine in tweaking it. He went by the name Flyswatter on this forum. Tom is kind of out of bass fishing now, but if you do a search on this site, you probably will find some info he posted. He later had a 250 SHO put on the same boat. Just my 2c worth I would cut out the graphs as they are easy to add on later and go with 250 just for resale. Good luck and you will love the Eyra

With a 225 even, you are going to smoke about every boat out there but another Cat and a couple others. Re-sale will be easier too because BCB packages the Eyra with a 225, its a popular option.

I have to agree if money was it I would also cut out high dollar graphs and then even 24 volt trolling motor and go 250 also. I know it would be fine with 200 but down the road it will cost you lot more than the difference unless u keep it 10 plus years.

Bass Cat does not price 200s on the Eyra sequentially. They price the smaller engines at lower numbers which makes the advantage in favor of those consumers. The goal was to offer 200s closer to the P2 pricing on the Eyra so that people have a choice to the 19 market and it offsets the former P4 model. The recent adjustment to the Eyra saw the 250 and the 225 increase in price, though the 200 went down. BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on March 16th, 2017, 2:03 am, edited 1 time in total.

I dont understand BCB. 250 abandon 225 increase 200 went down??? confused. Are you saying that an Eyra in premium pkg with 200 will price about the same as a p2 with 200?

We dont know the price exactly though the engines dont dictate the differences.
