I have a few, will a 76″ rod fit in the rod locker. If I wanted to have the carpet changed in a few years is this something that the factory could do including the deck extension? Also how hard is it to use the digital controls? Are they dependable-the digital dash?? I am looking at a pretty nice one but these are the only things that have me hung up.

I have 3 rods 7feet long in my Eyra rod box, including a spinning rod. They will fit, but as with all boats in that range, remove carefully as the rod will follow the curvature of the hull. So far, have about 15 rods that stay in there at all times. Yes, you can get the factory to re-carpet interior, just need to call ahead and plan a time that is convenient for BC and you. The computer dashes are very reliable over the years and provide a lot of information not previously available. You can download a manual off of this website. Good luck, I love the Eyra I have. I do agree with jignpig on the digital dash. I really like the one on my 95 and have had no problems with it. As mentioned you can get a pdf manual for it. Not sure on the rods as I dont have one over 7. I think the Eyra is a great boat – especially compared to other 18 footers.Jason Ferbrache – Edmond, OK 1995 Basscat Eyra
