Eyra WOT top speeds?

I personally have topped out at 82.5 mph. With a 28 pitch Raker II. I had most of my gear in the boat just over half my gas and no water in the wells. Does anybody have #s to share?

Thats solid! Understand from the BRP gang that your rig and one other BCB were in the water last week at their International Dealer meeting. Hope that went well!

Yes I was their, what a show. There were thousands of people there over the weekend. I must of put at least 20 hrs on the boat. It was really cool to be able to take these guys out for rides. They were able to provide me with great feed back. Most of the Europian dealers had never been in a bass boat. The expression on their faces after running WOT was priceless.

I have seen those numbers, when the water was cooler. Right now, I am lucky to see 80 because that 26 Fury is not moving enough of that hot water… not getting the lift.Once I get a bigger prop, I should be able to get back in the 80s again.

I have had good luck with a Razor 4 from Mark Croxton in a 26p. My 27 fury does well but doesnt come out of the hole very good.

Whats the hole shot like with that 27T1 Swatter? I just ordered a new Eyra. Im guessin it comes with a 26 Fury right? I want all I can get on top but I cant live with a slow hole shot. Thanks for the info and keep us informed.

Hole shot is good by any standard with the SHO. You will not be disappointed. Your SHO will come standard with a 27T1. Youll get more out it at the top end too. At least thats what I found on my setup. There is some slight hole shot cavitation but nothing serious. If you have a Hyd. JP you can lower the motor to correct that. My best results when you are comfortable with the boat was 1.5″ below pad single. The motor did awesome at 1″ below pad with two people. If your not happy with it you can add some cup and that should fix you up real good. I actually like the 27T1 better then the 26p Fury on my SHO Eyra setup.

Right after I broke the boat and motor in, with just me about 10 gallons of fuel and nothing else. Turning a 27 pitch fury I saw 86.4. Now it was April, water temp was in the upper 60s and about 5 mph wind. Now the boat is loaded with two bass pro shops, 25 plus gallons of fuel, and two guys I will see any where from 78.5 to 81.7, the water temp is anywhere from 88 to 94 degrees right now here in Oklahoma!
