spbait, Another trick that was mentioned, for those wishing to use their GPS as well as the flasher, is to go into your sonar menu and select “stop screen” on the 520c, then switch back to your map screen. That stops the transducer “ping”, which allows your 1440 flasher to operate as intended, while the gps mapping continues as normal. I sort of like this option, but the quick solution that Gary already mentioned will definitely work. Hope that helps.
