I purchased 2015 Cougar that had this stain on console and windshield. Felt I could buff it out on both surfaces, but nothing will remove it. Broke windshield and don’t want the stain to migrate to the new one. The current fix is black duct tape over the stain on the console, and so far windshield is fine. “If you can’t see it, its not there” solution; kind of like resolving a check engine light. Any suggestions on the cause of this and resolution.
