Doc, Welcome to the Family. This is your online, continually updated, owners manual. The Classic is a hot rod hull—My best friend and tournament partner runs this rig, with a Tempest prop, and it will SCREAM, 70+ with two folks and tournament gear. Since this is a new boat, Id suggest that you load the front of the boat with gear(to add weight to keep the nose down), becasue you want the engine to work during break in. Get 3-4 hours on the boat, before you even worrry about trying to dial in the jackplate. Also be sure to add some fuel additive to the fuel on a regular basis—ethanol is not good for outboards. Welcome to the family! Mike Whitten
