finally got it home and am curious on a few things 2010 p2

ok so today I poked around a lot…here are some pictures for those that havent seena new P2 also can someone tell me what this is………its in the front lockerso here is a neat little light bcb adds to the 12v always a peeve with other boats that there isnt a cleat in the center of the boat…bcb fixed that reccessed in the helm area on both sides :thumb up2: too big for a drain so I figure its net storagea window into the gas tank to see if there is an issuealso great feature the genesis charger for the 3 batteries and a seperate single charger for the cranking battery is a nice feature, witing is all super tucked together and neat as heck….I get it some more Also any pics of ram mounted units on the dash, the wiring for my 997 is too short to pull under and over the dash so I need to make a hole to fit them through any suggestions where? and pics are awsome

That round thing in your front storage box is for registration papers. Hope you enjoy the new rig.

Niceguy, Congrats on a fine rig. You have bought my favorite BCB Model and its beautiful. I think the P-2 is a perfect fishing setup for most any type of water. Fast enough to run with the big dogs, Handles rough water well, still small enough to manuever easily, Great layout, looks great too. ohhhh trust me this is beyond a great boat, you really dont get to truely understand what all the talk is about until you start to climb around and in the boat!!! thats when you truely appreciate the quality thats going into it. That being said Im about to drill a hole in the center console to fit my wiring through for the 997…Im guessing thats the only option here right

You dont have to drill the hole if you dont want too. You can run your wires up along side the steering column and bundle them neatly together. This was an option I considered when I had my side imaging installed but I went with the drilling the hole because I figured I would always have a GPS/depthfinder of some sort on the dash. The only way I would consider not drilling the hole is if I didnt plan on keeping the boat very long and if I was going to keep my electonics for my new boat. In your case, I say pop the hole and forget about it. Once you install your 997 youll never see it again.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.

Chris dead on put a plug easy as pudding pie struggled a bit as there wasnt a lot of slack left in the wiring and in order to instal the grommet over the choke I needed to re wire the power supply, but again easy as pudding piea view of the 997 on the dash

aniceguy, There is a molded funnel wedge in the face of the console, this is for a clam shell to mount upside down on that face and let the wires come out the bottom of the clam shell above the RAM mount base.
