I bought my first Basscat tonight. It is 2005 Pantera Classic with a Mercury 200efi. I hoping to get to run it tomorrow afternoon.

I took the Cat out yesterday for the first time, and all I can say is WOW. The lift, speed, ride, and handling is amazing. The ga didnt work, but with the 25 tempest I got it to run about 5900 rpms with just a small rooster tail about (about to the bottom of th cowling). Which I would guess to be low 70s. I think it would run good with maybe a 27 on it.

First off Congrads on Joining the family !!!!!! You now own the hotrod of the 19 ftrs with a 200s !!!!!! If its a 3.0 ltr you can swing a 27 Temp , if its a 2.5 ltr you may wanna keep that 25 on there !!!!!!!!
