After lots of questions and some changes, I finally finished my project of swapping my X5 to a Terrova and adding BassCats trolling motor tray insert. Ive had some of you ask me some questions about my project so here are some pictures of the finished product. BassCats insert looks very good and was easy to install. It mounts with 2 long 1/4″ toggle bolts they include. One is under the pedal. The other is the bottom right bolt on my Ram mount. I ended up using a sliding bracket made by R&R Design for the terrova. They also made me a custom plate that I mounted between the bracket and the bow. Its slightly larger and covers my existing holes that werent covered by the bracket itself. Youll also see a picture of the space between rod box lid and TM head when slid back. I probably have 1-1.5″ clearance with a 45″ shaft. As a bonus, I also have a picture of my livewell snaps. After I recently had a middle seat installed, it was as hard for me to get a good grip on the lever to lift and open. I drilled a small hole and added a ss key ring. Makes all the difference.
