I got a quick question, do basscats come equipped with a fire extinghuisher from the factory, or does the dealer install them. Just wondering because mine doesnt have one. I thought all boats come equipped with one under the console. I probably need to contact my dealer, but just thought I would ask you guys.Thanks Robin

Robin, None of the boats Ive owned came from the factory with a fire extinguisher. Ive always bought and installed my own. Some dealers might add them before delivery. You can find good, inexpensive extinguishers from any hardware store or Wal-Mart, etc.

Mine is under the passenger console just to the left of the cooler/step. Wayne

Thanks guys, I know my last boat had one mounted under the console. I just talk to a buddy of mine he said his cat came with one, it just wasnt mounted, it was in one of his compartments. I looked in all my compartments and didnt see one. I will talk to the dealer tomorrow, or just go buy one. I just didnt want to get a fine for not having one, or even worse needing one and not having it. BTW I switched my profile name because im no longer hunting for a cat. Thanks Robin

They are a dealer item as BCB does not provide a fire extinguisher.
