I have been looking for a bigger boat for about 6-8 months now since buying a house on toledo. have been fishing out of an express for 8-9 years out there and have fished out of skeeters, javelins, stratos and rangers. not too many boats i havent been in and fished. however i have never ridden in nor fished out of a bass cat. a client of mine swore by his cat and urged me to look at them. being as we are in unstable economic times i have been on this board for months looking for a used cat since i did not want to finance anything. well i came across a 94 p2 that was immaculate right here in my back yard. still never riden in one and was looking for a heavy boat for those toledo waves (been on the wet side of too many of those afternoon thunderstorms). test drove it on wednesday last week in about 18-20 inch chop. went to the bank to get cashiers check at 9 the next morning. went to indian creek in central la saturday had 12-15 mph winds, drove and fished in the wind and OMG…… you guys know how to build a boat. i have never been so comfortable in rough water nor so dry and this is a 94. cant wait for the economy to turn around so i can get that puma. thanks BCB, you made a believer out of me. will be heading to toledo this weekend to test it on the real waves. till then, thanks again!!!
