Took her out to the delta this morning. Oh man she rides so nice. A very fun boat to drive. Started the breakin and had her up to 4500rpm and with full live wells and the motor trimed all the way down we hit 55.6mph. Thats also with two people. Not bad. Had to stop by Boatmasters in Livermore to have ab issue with the float in the oil tank that is on the motor. Kept giving alarms due to the oil not being to the top of that tank. Mike took care of it real quick. He cleared the errors and checked the break in time. im at 2hrs 4min. Woohoo going to deal with the remaining in the morning and start bringing her on bad but not above 5400rpm till maybe a little over an hour. If I see your boat Ill give ya a holler. I was out again today and finished the break in procedure. Took some short WOT runs but didnt come up on pad fully. I hit 60 fully loaded half a tank of fuel in the main tank and a friend. I also had a 15mph head wind. Nice! It did get a little squirly with the gusts of wind so thats why the short runs. I dropped the trim and she ran stable and handles great at 50 in the wind. My team mate made the comment that the boat felt very stable and solid. He loved the colors!!! I finally got my first Bass on my boat. Its was about as long as my Never mind! Lets say it was tiny but its a fish on my boat. Its unfortunate that it will be raining tomorrow so I wont get to go out but I may have an empty back seat if someone wants to go to the delta Monday.I hate going by myself. Launching is a pain. I launched my PIV by myself in a 30 mph wind today, got bit by the dock when I tried to tie up to run get the truck when it was time to go. I feel your pain. Mike
Keep a look at for me also……I basically only fish the river and live across the street from Rivers End (Dells Harbor). I have an 2010 Cougar blue and gray……
