Gator back material is the answer to this issue if they ever get the compound right, I have gator bunks on my trailer now, they are to hard of a compound, my new Sabre has cuts up and down the hull where these bunks contact the boat from loading and unloading. they do however drain off the water between the boats hull and the trailer bunk. H20 sportz told me to bring mine in after the new year starts to have mine fixed and at that time they said I would be getting carpetted bunks on my trailer. I think a little gel coat blister might be the lesser of two evils when it come to cuts or blisters. I really like the gator back concept, just wish it didnt come with the abrasive issues.
