Well, after months of looking I am going to pick up my first BassCat tomorrow. I have a lot of people to thank for all the assistance and guidance over the last few months. Scott Brech at Brech Marine in Selma, Alabama gave me my first ride in a BassCat and I appreciate him taking the time on a cold December day to show me the quality and ride of a Cat. Randy McBride and the great folks at Airport Marine in Alabaster, Alabama were great as I spent a couple of hours on a Saturday asking a lot of questions. Phil Addison took the time to talk with me on the phone during the holidays and eventually hooked me up with Kota Kiriyama and tomorrow I will be traveling to Alabama and picking up my 2008 Cougar FTD, the boat that Kota ran in the tournament he won on Lake Erie last year. So, the whole process has been great as I now not only have my first BassCat and joining the BassCat family but I have also made many new friends along the way. Ill post a picture of the boat when I get her home tomorrow. Lets go fishing!
Welcome to the family!!! Post a few picts when you get a chance.
I also want to welcome you to the BassCat family. You are getting one heck of a beautiful rig from a heck of a nice guy. I corresponded with Kota several times last year when I was hoping to buy his previous rig. It was during the Elite on Falcon and I did not expect him to but he e-mailed me every night after coming in off the water. I wasnt able to pull the deal together but I would have no problem trying to deal with him again. I was so happy for him when he got his first win and I e-mailed him again, not really expecting to hear anything back, but he responded again. In my opinion he is an excellent representative of the BassCat quality of family. Welcome; looking forward to the pics.
Welcome to the BCB Family. Sure you will enjoy your new rig and maybe you will be able to make the O I in April at Mt. Home. Post pics when you can. Enjoy and tight lines. pant 2 Bob
Glad you two were able to work out a deal. Kota, though I have never met him in person, seems to be a stand up guy, Never heard anything negative and he has always treated me with the utmost respect. If you ever have questions about that boat or any other Bass Cat boat get on here and ask or give me a call. Youll have a blast learning and getting to know that boat as it will be one of the best performing boats on the lake! Good luck fishing and hope to get to meet you one day!
Congrats on the new boat. Youll enjoy that boat more than you can imagine. Get some pictures up on here when you get the boat. KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax
High Tide, welcome to the family. You are in for a life experience. I have owned a number of boats over the last 30 years and you will not get the comradery or support from any company like you will here. We can wait to see your new ride and here of your experience with your new boat. TerryTerry Battisti
