I know theres been a lot of talk of how fast an Eyra will go which is great but after just a few days with my new one I have been impressed more with the fish-ability of one. Lets face it, going fast and beating your buddy to the hot hole is great, but we spend probably 95% of our time on the trolling motor trying to catch those little green and brown guys. The storage of the boat is deceiving in the showroom(looks smaller). The rod lockers are huge and the rear storage can hold several standard Plano tackle boxes with room to spare. The live-wells are the biggest Ive seen and the coolers can hold a lot more ice, pops, and as Kevin Short says “samiches” than you think. The coffin lids up front are a peasant surprise because you can open one up without leaving the front deck. This is a huge advantage while your on the water.I felt very comfortable behind the wheel and I believe the seats are the perfect height. I took my buddy, who just bought a new Skeeter, out and he only got mad because he wishes he saw this boat before he bought his. I could go on and on but the bottom line is this is a great “fishing” boat and going fast is just a small bonus. Thanks BassCat!!
