I would also check to see if your battery is good. If you voltage drops it will shut the unit off. This can happen and still be able to start you engine and run other things on the boat making you think that it is not the problem. Otherwise I would have no idea.God Bless, Stephen

Joe, Check the voltage coming out of the plug with a voltmeter, and if you have it, then you have a unit issue. BCB

Dont have a voltmeter until tomorrow, went ahead and turn on my electronics, seems like they are working fine now WTF. Hope its not unit issue or battery. Thanks Joe BarreraYour Signature …

Bad connection is more than likely the culprit.

I would start at the battery connections. Lots of time that is where the problem lies.
