Has anyone in the family fished one of the new Abu Garcia Vendetta rods?I need a new flippin rod. ($100) Your suggestion is appreciated. And to Mr.Pierce the BCB crew. NEW EYRA!…..Enough Said!

Shimano Cumara. $200, but youll never put it down. I like the 72″ with the extra fast tip. Its $ for 1/4to1/2 oz.

have not used the Garcia but it would be worth your time to pick-up a Denali and try it out. been using them for about 6 months and love em. They will run about 180.00 but I think they are worth it.

I have heard the Falcon Bucoo rod is real nice and is also very light in wieght. It is more in you $ range. I love when you tell someone $100 and they give you rods for twice that much…..I am also looking for a good rod for the $ and the 2 that keep coming up in my research is the Bucoo and the Shamano Compre (spelling?)

The falcon bucco is my choice , get the 6 power in length 610 or 7 very light and plenty of backbone they sell for $110 Tim Rawls

+1 on the Compre. It will run you about $90 plus tax. Shimano Compre ($90), Crucial ($150) and the Cumara ($200+) all come with over the counter lifetime warranties. I have two of the Crucial flipping sticks and they are great for a wide range of duties.

The shimano warranty justifies the extra cost of a better rod to me. It becomes an investment at that point. I didnt buy the best boat made to fill it with disposable equiptment. I apply the same principles of quality and service to each purchase I make, not just the boat. With that Ill also give a nod to anything Falcon makes. The Bucoo is a nice rod, but fish with a Cara or a Shimano Crucial and there is a noticable difference that in my oppinion is well worth it. Good luck.

I appreciate the responses. I had a Team Daiwa I loved, but on a hookset I made it a 2-piece.Thought about a new split grip TD modle, but I saw the Abu Garcia at BPS the other day and just wondered.

The 73″ MH rod has a 12-25 rating but has a soft tip. Its an excellent crankbait rod and really launches them out there too.
