Cables are fine…had em on my PII in the 90s with a 200 EFI. IMO, its easier to learn to control the chine walking with the cables. My current boat has hydraulic and I love it, but it has just a tad more play in the wheel than I remember on the cables. Its well within tolerances though, so its just a learning curve.I think most standard garage doors are about 108″, depending on molding, etc. In the 90s I had a PII, standard door in my basement. I had to back the PII uphill (not real steep, but enough to require me to defeat the trailer brakes when backing), then turn a tandem axle trailer into the garage door, which was 90 degrees from the driveway. Thank goodness it was a radius turn!! I had about 2-3 inches on either side of the tires/fenders and got pretty good at it after a month or two. Were there some black tire marks on the casings surrounding the door…YES. But the fenders never hit. With a single axle trailer, it is MUCH easier to turn into tight places. Doesnt look as pretty, but in the case of the Sabre, you really dont NEED a dual axle rig. Mine pulls like butta…Either boat youre looking at will fit fine.2017 Sabre FTD AE DC2017 Yamaha 175 SHOMK Fortrex 80Helix 10 Mega SI in consoleHelix 7 GPS SI GN2 on bow
