Basscat, I am hoping you do not mind me doing this. I am in the process of starting a little hobby-side business and thought I would post what I am doing. If this is not the place for this then please by all means delete this post. For the last month or so I have been organizing my shop, buying equipment, supplies and inventory. As of this moment I am pouring Tube Jigs, Darter Jigs, Round Ball Shake It Jigs and Football Shake It Jigs. Have plans in the very near future to start pouring and making Football Jigs and Spinner Baits. I am in the process of modifying a couple molds and building my inventory for this. Hopefully in the next month or so I will start pouring and building these also. I also have plans later on this Summer or Fall to build my own website for selling these. Depending on how this all goes I also have plans for adding a few other things but will not release details until I see how this all goes first. For anybody that is interested I am pouring and using the best hooks and componants I can get my hands on for doing this. I am using nothing but Gamakatsu Hooks and trying to be versatile in what I am doing as to meet everybodys needs and demands. In most everything I am pouring you will have a couple choices in hook size and color options. Joey pouring lead for jig heads as a hobby is one thing. but dealing with large amounts of it or involving others ( Employees) is another. You can go on the net and find a MSDS sheet for lead. It is all about ventilation and PPE. Good luck.
Thanks, I know all about the dangers of pouring lead. Am in the process of of dealing with the ventilation and am in a big giant shop. Do not plan on keeping an inventory of build stuff and will just build for each individual. Will just try to keep a pretty good inventory of some things. Not wanting the whole market and am just aiming at those that want something a little different and to their own specifications. Example: I want a 1/4 ounce football jig with a 5/0 hook. Somebody else may prefer it with a 4/0 hook. I have received 5 emails from people for the FREE samples of what I am pouring. I will try to get you some samples out in the next couple days. Well, I am back up and running again. Kind of sad how much we all depend on our computers and the internet now days. Was only down for a day and felt kind of lost. Sam, Thanks for posting for me. I appreciate it very much. Also want to say Thanks to BC for letting me post on here like this. Gives me a chance to reach out to people and places that at this time I would not be able to. Not sure what I expected when I posted this but the emails and responses I got was a little over whelming. Not complaining though and will try to respond to everybody this evening. As stated earlier, is my goal to just do custom pours and work. Will not keep a very big inventory of poured stuff and am pouring and building to each persons needs or specifications. If most of you are like me then you want something you cannot always buy or get your hands on. Is my goal to try and make that happen if at all possible. Evan willing to purchase new molds and or hooks to try and meet your needs if it is feasable. Thanks again to all and look forward to helping each of you catch a few more fish. Joey Watts

Wanted to let everybody know that I got the FREE samples shipped to everybody. I work during the day right next to a post office so is easier for me to ship that way. I was a day or two late getting everything shipped and wanted to apologize to everybody. With the storms coming through like they did and then my father having to put his dog to sleep the next day kind of put me behind a little bit. I had a couple people email me back after I sent them pics and price sheets saying they could not open the attachments. Not sure what the problem is but am going to check into it tomorrow. Joey, I received the baits today and they look awesome, I cant wait to try the football jigs on Kentucky Lake. Thanks again Joey and I will let you know how they work. Rich
