flippin compartment for 2004 Pantera III

I am trying to buy a flippin compartment for my 2004 Pantera III. I have found a new one that a fellow owner is trying to sell but I have a question for all of yall about it. First, it was bought for a 2000 Pantera III, will it fit?(I think it will) Second, Does this flippin compartment cover the area in front of my console(drivers console) the pics dont look like it does and there isnt anything about an extra piece for that area. Thanks!!

Flippin deck on both the Jag and the PIII should cover that area in front of the console. Are you sure? It is “L” shaped. Judd Lasiter

This is the picture I have received. I dont see that that will cover the whole space.

That isnt the flippin deck I was expecting to see that has the compartment on it too. I think BCB might have to help you there, if someone sent me that pic I wouldve guessed it was for a Classic. Sorry, I wasnt aware they made the compartment flippin deck for the PIII. JL

I have an 02 P3 (DC). That does not look like mine. Looks as if that one is for a single console. And yes there should be another smaller lid attached by a hinge on the right side to cover the area in front of the drivers console. I can EMail you a photo if needed.

Thanks everyone for the info. I am pretty sure I can get this “flippin compartment” for about half of the cost of the “flippin deck”. I may have to do some checking on getting some kind of cover custom made for the space in front of the console.. But then again for the price of the compartment plus the price of getting a cover made for the space I could probably by the factory flippin deck. Thanks again everyone.

The original post does say a flippin compartment, not flippin deck. Also, the picture he has been given is of a flippin compartment. Hes trying to see if that flippin compartment from another boat will fit in his boat. Based on the picture, it doesnt appear to me that it will cover that area in front of the console. Unless there is another hinged piece that is not shown. I would check with the seller to see what else comes with the unit and if it would cover the space in front of console. Or, check with BCB to see if they have a recommendation regarding the fit of this unit. Hope you get fixed up. I added a flippen deck to my classic, and it makes a world of difference on the front deck. I love it. Having another compartment in the deck would be an added bonus. The flipping deck, which is what Id recommend he find, is made to fit the Jag and PIII and will cover the open area in front of your console. Id pass on the compartment.

Thanks again everyone. I think I will pass on the flippin compartment and order a flippin deck from BCB.
