Can I Order a Flippin deck insert with the BCB logo on it. I have seen some in pics, but there is no option when ordering. How much extra is it. 04 classic, thanks
I installed a flippin deck on my Sabre myself with no problems. It was easy to do, just make sure you measure twice and drill once. I wish the flippin deck extended the cooler as well. I usually poke a hole in one of the cans when I shut the lid and have to “reload” before the day is done. -Mc
mines an 02, and the deck snaps in or out EASILY, depending on what i need that day. i usually have it in, and its some of the best “option” money i spent when i got the boat. that deck really changes the way a sabre fishes, in my opinion.
i noticed all the new flipping deck inserts have a panel/wall that closes off the space beneath it. the older style were just open, creating an open space beneath the deck. i think i prefer the open style, still. my kids call it their “dog house” and like to crawl under there. it creates a great place for your fishing partner to stash all his stuff, also.
I have an 06 Sabre and the flippin deck bolts to the rod boxes but is easily taken out. It does not have a box built in but a compartment door that opens to allow access to the miniature cooler. There is room under it to stash gear, bags, etc. -Mc
The newer models went to a smaller deck insert of Aluminum and the lip was smaller to get larger openings under the lids. There is still a consideration about the seat working properly in the floors for other uses without the decks also.
