Yep, broke the cross brace that the latch connects to. So I took the deck out of the boat for inspection and found it broke on one side. Upon further inspection(being a welder) Im suprised it didnt break sooner(its a year old). Perhaps mine just slipped through, but there is little to no welding at the joints at all. Now I could weld it but it would torch the carpet so I dont want to do that. Any ideas? Id prefer to reinforce it somehow so it doesnt happen again. Any advice would be appreciated.ThanksSean
