I have a 96 Jag with a 96 Mariner 225 and a Trophy A45 25 pitch prop that I want to change. Does the plastic sleeve come out of the prop or do I need to get a new one. Will the newer prop come with a sleeve? Any comments or recommendations will be appreciated, especially where to buy a new prop.

The inserts slip out and a light tap to the center will free it, unless temps of exhaust have froze it and you will need a new one in that case and the removal saved you a break down. You might try a 25″ Fury if you desire trying a different wheel. You have a nice boat many here speak about with fondness. Hope you enjoy this combo!
