went to install a Flow Rite drain assembly on my boat. Theres an aluminum ferrule in the hole that my drain plug fits into now. Any issues with cutting it out and installing the assembly? Would much appreciate yalls comments, feedback and recommendations. Sure dont want to mess it up. Its watertight now. Just very hard to get under there anymore and harder to get up!
