Where do I find the information on the QUEST program for the FLW Series, Stren Series and BASS Opens? Thanks.banditbasser@gmail.com
The Semi Pro and Pro programs are only released to individual who are signed up and entered in those events. The BASS Opens and BFL programs are covered by Quest automatically. BCBRule T. T. Tournaments under automatic sanction as of this printing in 2006 are: Anglers Choice Teams and Couples, American Bassfishing Club (ABC), BASS Outdoors Series, Media Bass, 100% BASS, BassMaxx, Team Trails of Mississippi, BFL events, Internet (IBBT, BFHP & BBC) Rallys designated on website, and B.A.S.S. State Federation Championships, ALL other Tournaments must be sanctioned and events are subject to change. Complete listings will be updated on the Bass Cat Quest board.BASS Tours, BASS Elites, FLW and Stren events run under their own separate programs and details are available to those competitors who are Participating in those specific events, as Professionals and Semi Professionals.
I fished a few Strens and a couple Series this year as a co-angler and thinking of going boater next year. Also thinking about getting a new Cat. I know the Rangers have an edge in these tournaments with their contingencies but just wondering what you can qualify for with the Cats. Fished out of a Puma and Cougar this year and was very impressed. Thanks.
oh and what is the difference between a pro and semi-pro designation? thanks for all the clarification.
The incentives we have are tied to those who win. Those incentives are available for Stren and FLW.We do not have a highest finishing angler as they do in the Ranger events. FLW Outdoors is owned by the same individual who owns Ranger. So those highest finishing angler are incentives to his boat owners. Which is why they have the highest finishing angler awards. They do not offer this for most other organizations we are aware of. Semi Pro would be Stren Series, while FLW Tour and Series are Pro Series. We also have a similar program for BASS Events. Once you are entered in either Stren or FLW, we will provide those individuals with the program upon verification and request. Thanks! BCB
New to the Cat Family & GameOn the Quest program, I fish all the Stren TX division Events each year and plan to expand in the coming years. How do I get details/ sign up for the Quest for this?I just took delivery last weekend of my new Cougar FTD…I Love it.
We would be happy to send you a copy, once we verify your entry into those Stren events. BFL events are automatically sanctioned for Quest members. You are, through your purchased of a new BCB, a member of Quest. If your rig is a used boat, then you will need to address the transfer to your name, which will enter you in Quest. Once you have verification in those events, e-mail that to [email protected] and we will be happy to send you a copy for the Stren Series. We again are very conservative with this program, and do not in any way try to convince or influence individuals to compete at higher levels. Though once they are entered, we will be happy to provide that information. Thanks! BCB
I am confirmed for this last one on Texoma next month in Stren….though i dislike that lake greatly. Thanks and I have sent the request to:[email protected] Do i need to send the confirmation letter to someone as well??I have been an FLW pro for 4-5 years. Thanks,KT
