if you have a single console, the passenger side box is much easier to use. i store up to nine 7 rods in my passenger rod box (i store other stuff in my drivers side box since it is so hard to get rods in and out of)i use rod socks and a portable plastic rack i bought in bass pro shops for the handles to rest on. it holds nine butts.my only wish is that basscat would carpet all the way to the front of the boat in the rod boxes. even though its under the deck, it would be a nice touch. it kills me when i hear my rod tips scratching along the fiberglass way up in the bow as i slide rods in and out of the locker.but as far as fitting them, it should be no problem. in fact, youll find more issues with the rods ON the deck while fishing, as the sabre deck is a little shorter than the larger cats, so rod tips hang over the end..
