I just got back from another great trip on Fort Peck. We ran the Lynx 90 miles plus every day and averaged close to 30 gallons a day through the SHO. I wasn’t sure about the storage before I got it, but it is extremely functional and easy to get what you need quickly. This is the first boat I’ve had where I had enough room to carry a spare prop and not have to leave something else behind. I ran a Gilbert worked 25 Fury 4, but need a 24 to get the rpms up a little. I fished 3 people in the boat one day and there was plenty of room. The consoles are the best ever at keeping the wind at bay.
For some reason the boat is pulling to right at low speeds and seems to want to wander until you hit about 40, I tried to balance tanks and people, but have still not figured it out yet. Once the hull is out of the water the boat flys straight with no issues and is easy and a joy to drive and even faster than I expected. We even managed to catch a few fish, we averaged 26 pound limits every day. Big fish for the trip were 6.32 and 6.12 pounds.
