Seen a few traumas in my lifetime.Not sure seatbelts keeping you in the boat are a good thing at that velocity.Gotta pull on something when you stop. Your pelvis comes to mind first.Only way around something like this is a large 6 point that would lead to your death if the boat flipped.There is no way to make an open craft capable of these speeds safe and affordable.C.O.D. This has been out a while, but i am gonna have to say no to the seat belts, just wear your life jacket.

I believe the boat was a LEGEND DOMINATER. They were a small brand out for a few years, Not to be associated with the current Legend boats. They were a pretty fast hull but not put together very well in most cases. Although that one appears to have held up fairly well in this incident. That was a terrible accident. He is lucky to be alive. I can really relate to this video as I have been ejected from a Bass Boat. The only difference is that my boat ended upside down in a total flip. Also I was not crossing any boat wakes. No seat belt for me please. It would really suck to be stuck under a capsized boat and not being able to get out.
